Chorister Sunday

This past Sunday was Chorister Sunday at our church.  The Chorister 1 and 2 kids presented their big musical, "Under God's Sea in 3D", during the morning worship service.  I have no pictures of the performance (due to the fact that I was busy directing) but those kids sure did a great job.  We also recognized the kids that will be moving up into the Youth group next year.  Collin is included in this group and he played this song in the service Sunday morning.  Mighty proud of this boy.  I did manage to get it on video...  :)

It's raining, it's pouring...

...and we've been stuck inside for a few days.  This has caused us to come up with creative ways to entertain ourselves.  Here's what Adrienne and Benny came up with.

The weekend in pictures...

...mostly because I'm too tired (and sunburned) to write much.  I will say that we had a VERY fun weekend.

Our family performed music Friday and Saturday at the Plumb Nellie Days Festival in downtown Branson.

We also provided sound and lighting for all the main stage acts.

To add to all this fun, C and A finally got to play their first ball games of the season!

Hi this is A. I wrote a poem and it is about spring. Here it is:

SPRING

Spring flowers

Green grass

Spring frogs

Campouts

Spring meals

Eating outside

Spring sunsets

We made some videos...

...oh, but we did memorize a poem first. The poem is Emily Dickinson's, "Hope Is The Thing With Feathers". Each day we would read it together and watch a little YouTube clip about the poem. We decided making our own videos would be fun and we do love our Flip Video camera! Now if you know these children it won't surprise you to discover that A's interpretation is simple and serious and C's is, well, the exact opposite.
